He could think their thoughts…shed their tears Gandhiji discovered the uncommonness of common men and he was not happy unless he was with them. Dressed like one of them, eating their simple food, having no possessions like the poorest of men, he could thus think their thoughts, understand their wants and needs and laugh their laughs and shed their tears. He had become the crystallization of all the good traits and virtues of the Indian villagers. Gandhiji is dead. He lives for ever.
